Cadell Canute is an independent Australian designer who began altering and sewing clothes when she was 14. During lockdown in 2020 she began developing her own patterns from which the idea of creating pieces for others was sewn.

All pieces are made and designed by Cadell and materials are sourced from various origins, including recycled, scrap, vintage and virgin. The origin of each garment is always specified to provide full transparency and minimal waste is a source of inspiration.

Cadell Canute is a brand that creates unique, versatile statement pieces that last a lifetime. Sustainability is an integral part of the brand, using processing techniques that contribute minimally to landfill such as the use of scrap and recycled materials. The one-off bespoke nature of many Cadell Canute pieces aims to encourage increased wear, care and appreciation of each piece.
